Yankee Hall-Of-Famer Brings The Heat To Morristown At Sauce Showcase
Yankee legend Mariano Rivera brought his new hot sauce line, “Mo’s Heat,” to the ShopRite on East Hanover Avenue Thursday, drawing hundreds of fans eager to meet The Sandman. The three flavors, named after baseball pitches (The Cutter, The Curve, and The Sinker), are built around a 122-year-old habanero recipe from Rivera’s hometown of Puerto Caimito, Panama. Rivera says running a hot sauce brand isn’t so different from closing out games: you have to be passionate, committed, and devoted to what you believe in.
