Wrong-Way Driver Who Killed Woman, 22, Avoids Prison: Morris Co. Officials

Cody Bonds, 39, of Texas, was sentenced to five years of probation and a five-year license suspension after pleading guilty to reckless vehicular manslaughter in the death of Jamie Lynn Augenbaugh, 22, of Hopatcong. Bonds had crossed the double yellow centerline on Route 206 in Mount Olive in February, striking Augenbaugh’s car head-on; she died five days later.
