Woman Slapped Teen Girl Wearing Political Pants, Point Pleasant Beach Police Say

A 33-year-old Canadian woman living in Allenhurst has been charged with simple assault after police say she slapped a teenage girl twice on the July 4th boardwalk in Point Pleasant Beach because the girl was wearing Trump-supportive sweatpants. Kaitlyn E. Tracey was identified with help from Toronto police and U.S. Customs intelligence, and is now being held at Ocean County Jail with an ICE detainer in place.
