Woman Killed, Child Shot By Man In Paulsboro: Prosecutor

Ramon L. Acevedo, of Paulsboro, pleaded guilty to first-degree murder and related charges after shooting and killing Hazel M. Santiago and wounding a child during a dispute along Elizabeth Avenue on January 3. Sentencing is scheduled for November 17, where Acevedo faces a maximum of 30 years to life for the murder conviction alone.
