After Wednesday’s soggy, flood-prone weather, New Jersey is swinging hard in the other direction: Thursday brings a heat index of up to 103 degrees on top of a high near 91. The National Weather Service is urging residents to stay hydrated and find air conditioning, with more showers and storms possible Thursday evening and into the weekend.
