Warren County Man Hit, Carried 140 Feet By Truck On Pa. Highway, Police Say

A 51-year-old man from Alpha Borough in Warren County was killed Monday after being struck by a speeding pickup truck while standing outside his car on the shoulder of I-80 East in Pocono Township, Pennsylvania. The truck, forced into the shoulder after a tractor-trailer cut in front of it, carried the man approximately 140 feet before stopping, and he was pronounced dead at the scene. The incident remains under investigation, and no charges have been announced.
