Unlicensed NJ Doctor Kills Woman In Botched Anti-Aging Injection: Prosecutors

A 27-year-old woman died after receiving an intravenous NAD+ injection at a Bronx wellness center operated by Luis Rojas Cabrera, a Passaic County man who was not licensed to practice medicine in New York. Cabrera, 56, has been charged with second-degree murder and other counts after prosecutors determined the cause of death was a cardiac air embolism caused by air introduced into the victim’s vein.
