Unlicensed Driver Hits Family, Killing Infant In Jackson, Prosecutor Says

A 9-month-old boy died Friday after an unlicensed driver struck him, his mother, and his 5-year-old sister in a Jackson grocery store parking lot. The driver, Maria CobonGuzman, 20, has been charged with manslaughter, and a second woman who allegedly knew CobonGuzman was unlicensed and allowed her to drive has also been charged. The mother and daughter are hospitalized in stable condition.
