Trans Bathroom Policy Pits Outraged Dad Against NJ School

A Chatham parent appeared before the Morris County school board Monday night to push for bathroom and sports policies based on biological sex, citing a district policy that gives transgender students access to facilities aligned with their gender identity. The superintendent responded that no student is using a restroom outside their assigned sex at birth and that the district is committed to keeping all students safe, while a separate incident from late April showed police were called when the same parent showed up at his children’s elementary school to hand out copies of the district’s own trans student policy.
