Tornado Touchdown Confirmed In NJ, National Weather Service Says

A brief tornado touched down in Atlantic County on August 20, lasting about 30 seconds near the Great Egg Harbor River in a wooded, marshy area with no confirmed damage. It marks the fifth tornado to touch down in New Jersey this year, following four that struck on a single day back in July.
