Morristown Medical Center claimed the No. 2 spot in New Jersey on the just-released U.S. News & World Report 2026-2027 Best Hospitals rankings, right behind Hackensack University Medical Center, which topped the statewide list. The rankings, now in their 37th year, put more weight on patient outcomes this time around, with sister facility Overlook Medical Center in Summit landing at No. 3.
