'Terrifying' Deck Collapse In Morris Co. Injures 7 During Birthday Party

A deck several feet off the ground collapsed during a 15-year-old’s birthday party in Long Valley on Sunday, injuring seven of the 11 people who were on it at the time. Six were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries, and the homeowner noted the deck was built in the 1990s and had shown no visible signs of rot or damage beforehand.
