Teacher Sexually Assaulted Student In 4 Different NJ Communities, Prosecutor Says

A Freehold Township High School teacher, Jesse Heubel, 37, has been charged with sexual assault and endangering the welfare of a child across four municipalities after prosecutors say he engaged in sexual acts with a student under 18 beginning in November 2025. Heubel turned himself in and is being held at Monmouth County Correctional Institution pending court proceedings.
