Teacher's Sexual Abuse Of Student Prompts Lawsuit Against Chester School

A former Black River Middle School science teacher, Lorri Willis, was sentenced to three years in state prison after pleading guilty to sending sexual and suggestive text messages to a 13-year-old student over an extended period. The victim’s mother is now suing the Chester School District, alleging officials should have recognized Willis as a danger to children before the abuse occurred.
