'Superman,' 'All My Children' Actor Killed In NJ Housefire

Paul Avery, an actor known for a small role in the 1978 film “Superman” and 12 years playing bartender Hughie on “All My Children,” died Tuesday in a house fire at his Blairstown Township home in Warren County. He was 84. His wife, Sheila, also did not survive.
