Somerville Man Hacked Wife To Death With Hatchet, Court Records Show

Ignacio Espinal, 55, of Somerville, has been charged with first-degree murder in the death of his wife, Alyne Espinal, 46, who was found with multiple hatchet wounds in their home on August 6. Court documents indicate he purchased the hatchet four weeks before the killing and later attempted to conceal evidence.
