Skillman College Senior, 21, Killed In DUI Hit-And-Run: Police

Kalina “Kat” Trent, a 21-year-old Skillman resident and Coastal Carolina University senior, died on Aug. 22 after a driver struck her and a friend while they were crossing a street in Conway, South Carolina, and fled the scene. The driver, Mauricio Palafox Correa, was later charged with felony DUI and two counts of hit-and-run with great bodily injury.
