Severe Weather Risk Across NJ Tuesday As Flooding, Power Outages Linger

Monday night’s severe thunderstorms left hundreds of NJ residents without power Tuesday morning, with Morris County hit hardest at 96 customers affected and restoration expected by Tuesday afternoon. A lingering low-pressure system still poses a risk of severe weather and flash flooding Tuesday, mainly across far southern NJ, where rainfall rates of up to two inches per hour are possible.
