Severe Storm Threat Increases With Flash Flooding, High Winds In NJ
Severe thunderstorms are expected Friday evening from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m., bringing the potential for damaging winds and heavy rainfall that could trigger flash flooding, especially along and northwest of the I-95 corridor. Heat index values could hit 104 degrees before the storms arrive, and more unsettled weather is in the forecast through much of next week until a cold front moves through late Tuesday or Wednesday.
