Retired NJ Police Officer Sexually Assaulted Teen Girl, Prosecutor Says

A retired Haddonfield police officer, Louis J. Baselice, 67, of Maple Shade, has been charged with sexually assaulting a teenage girl after allegedly grooming her with gifts including a scooter, a cell phone, and use of his credit card for food. Baselice was arrested Tuesday and is being held at Burlington County Jail; anyone with information is asked to contact the Burlington County Prosecutor’s Office at (609) 265-5035.
