Retired Federal Defense Worker Is Running For Sherrill's Old Congress Seat In NJ-11

Vince Matrisciano, a retired Department of Defense employee who spent more than 30 years at Picatinny Arsenal, is entering the race for New Jersey’s 11th congressional district seat as an independent candidate. He’s pitching himself as an alternative for voters fed up with both parties, with a platform covering health care affordability, border security, energy independence, and public transportation.
