‘Positive, Caring & Joyful’: Slain Chester Mom’s Alma Mater Reflects On Former Student

Erin Piacenti, a 32-year-old Chester mother and Villa Walsh Academy alumna, was killed in a random stabbing in Times Square on her first day back from maternity leave, leaving behind a five-month-old daughter. Her former teachers, coaches, and classmates at the Morristown school remembered her as a joyful, caring, and accomplished young woman, and the community has raised more than $700,000 for her daughter Madison’s future.
