Passaic Co. Cop Punched 2 In The Face, 'Unprovoked,' And Fled Bar, Affidavit Says

A West Milford police sergeant, Thomas Connors, was charged with two counts of simple assault after surveillance footage allegedly showed him punching two bar patrons in the face, unprovoked, at Jessie’s Country Kettle in September before leaving the scene. If convicted, Connors could face up to six months in jail, and it remains unclear whether he is still employed by the West Milford Police Department.
