Parsippany Tax Collector Found Dead In Town Hall, Cops Say

Parsippany’s longtime tax collector, Terence Whalen, 59, was found unresponsive in his Town Hall office on Wednesday morning by a custodian and was pronounced dead at the scene. Police say no foul play is suspected; Whalen had served as the township’s tax collector since 2008.
