Off-Duty Officer Hits, Kills Pedestrian In South Jersey: Prosecutor

A 19-year-old Camden man, Angel Saravia-Estrada, was struck and killed early Tuesday morning by a car driven by an off-duty Camden County police officer near Admiral Wilson Boulevard and 16th Street. He was taken to Cooper University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead around 1:15 a.m., and the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office is investigating.
