NJ Zoning Inspector Forged Phony Permits For Cash

A Passaic County zoning inspector named Jose Fermin pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit official misconduct after he and two co-conspirators sold forged Paterson zoning permits for cash, even offering them to people who never applied. Fermin is looking at three years in prison and a permanent ban from public employment in New Jersey.
