NJ University Named Best Place To Work In Garden State, Ranking Says

William Paterson University in Wayne has landed on Forbes’ 2026 Best-In-State Employers list for the third year running, joining 90 other New Jersey organizations recognized for workplace culture, compensation, and employee satisfaction. The ranking is based on independent surveys of more than 245,000 U.S. employees, so the university can’t take credit for gaming the results. Perks cited include internal promotion opportunities (more than half of positions are filled from within), hybrid work options, a four-day summer workweek, and tuition benefits for employees and their dependents.
