NJ Thief Who Tied Up, Pistol Whipped Hotel Guest Faces Judge

Louis Verdesoto, 35, of West New York, has been sentenced to 13 years in prison for a 2024 robbery at the Ramada by Wyndham in Parsippany, during which he and an accomplice pistol-whipped a woman, bound her to a chair with duct tape and zip ties, and stole her money. He must serve at least 85 percent of his sentence before he is eligible for parole.
