NJ Student Who Was Molested By Teacher Sues School District, Abuser

A former Morris Knolls High School teacher, Alyssa Perry, pleaded guilty to endangering the welfare of a child after sexually assaulting a student she tutored, and received a three-year suspended sentence plus lifetime parole supervision. The unnamed student has now filed a civil lawsuit against Perry and the Morris Hills School District, alleging sexual assault and battery against Perry and negligence against the district for failing to recognize or act on her predatory behavior sooner.
