NJ Predator Arrested, Extradited After Fleeing To Mexico, Feds Say

Adrian Bautista, charged in 2013 with aggravated sexual assault of a five-year-old girl in Morris County, was arrested in Mexico City in October 2025 after 12 years as a fugitive and extradited back to New Jersey last week. His return was funded through the federal “Project Welcome Home” program, and he now faces the original charges along with potentially additional ones.
