NJ Officer Helps Deliver Baby In Wawa Parking Lot: Report

Officer Dominic Hodson of Berlin Borough PD became an unlikely delivery room stand-in on July 6 when he responded to a woman in active labor in a Wawa parking lot on Route 73 and helped bring a baby boy into the world right in the front passenger seat. He cleared the newborn’s airway and held him until EMS arrived, and mom, dad, and baby are all reported to be doing well.
