NJ Mom Saves Daughter From Ex-Boyfriend's Assault, Prosecutor Says

A Pennsylvania man, Lucas Moran, pleaded guilty to aggravated assault after brandishing a knife and attempting to drag his ex-girlfriend into his car on Adriatic Avenue in Atlantic City last September. Her mother intervened to stop him, and State Police later pulled Moran over on the Atlantic City Expressway, where they found a folding knife on him. He faces up to five years in state prison.
