NJ Man With Homemade Bomb Lab Faces Federal Charges, Officials Say
A Denville man is facing federal charges after investigators executing a search warrant found a homemade bomb lab in his home, including around 109 improvised explosives in a backyard shed along with blasting caps, firearms, and ammunition. Joseph Rizos, 37, is accused of illegally buying, storing, and manufacturing explosive materials over roughly six years, and if convicted he faces up to 21 years in prison and $350,000 in fines.
