NJ Man Who Shot Federal Agent Learns Fate In Court

Maloy Amador, a Parsippany man who opened fire on DEA agents during a search of his home last August, has been sentenced to 24 years in federal prison. Amador pleaded guilty to attempted murder of a federal officer and related charges after the shootout left him and one agent wounded; investigators also found 18 guns and roughly four pounds of narcotics inside the home.
