A Rockaway Township man has been indicted for allegedly sneaking onto his girlfriend’s laptop to read confidential press release drafts at her PR firm, then using that insider knowledge to make suspiciously well-timed trades across eight publicly traded companies. Justin Jennings, 27, reportedly pocketed $2.7 million from the scheme between 2022 and 2024, and now faces up to 25 years in prison if convicted on the top charge, plus a civil complaint from the SEC.
