NJ Man Killed 2-Month-Old Daughter, Prosecutors Say

James Capo Jr., 39, of Phillipsburg, has been charged with murder in the death of his two-month-old daughter, Sophia, following a 14-month investigation. Sophia was found unresponsive in April 2025 and died days later from blunt force trauma to the head, according to the medical examiner.
