New Storm Threat Looms As Thousands Remain Powerless Across NJ
Friday night’s severe storms hammered New Jersey with wind gusts up to 71 mph, leaving more than 250,000 homes and businesses without power at the peak, with Morris County taking the hardest hit. As of Saturday morning, over 213,000 customers were still in the dark, and another round of severe thunderstorms is in the forecast for the Fourth of July.
