New Person Charged In 2022 Parkway Shooting In Toms River

A person who was a juvenile at the time has been charged in connection with a January 2022 shooting on the Garden State Parkway in which a man was struck in the leg after being followed from a Toms River gas station. The new charges, filed more than four years after a separate arrest in the case, include two counts of attempted murder and weapons offenses; the individual’s identity is being withheld due to their age at the time of the incident.
