Motorcyclist Hits Bear On I-78, Hospitalized With Serious Injuries In Hunterdon County

A motorcyclist was seriously injured Sunday night on I-78 West in Clinton Township after striking a bear that had wandered onto the highway, causing the bike to overturn and eject the rider. Luis Borges, 31, of Phillipsburg, was transported to an area hospital, and the crash remains under investigation.
