Morris County Sheriff’s Officer With ALS Rallies To Fund Cure Research

Morris County Sheriff’s Officer Christopher Murarik, 40, was recently diagnosed with ALS and has launched a fundraising campaign called “Standing Patch to Patch in the Fight Against ALS,” with every dollar going to the ALS Therapy Development Institute. His GoFundMe has already raised more than $53,000, and PBA Local 151 is hosting a clam bake fundraiser on July 23 from 6 to 9 p.m., with tickets at $85 per person.
