Morris Co. Cop Accused Of Choking Woman Will Walk, Attorney Says

Harassment, stalking, and assault charges against Florham Park patrol officer Gregory Dietz, who was accused of choking a woman unconscious after she rejected his romantic advances, have been dropped, according to his attorney. The Essex County Prosecutor’s Office dismissed the case, with Dietz’s lawyer citing insufficient evidence, and Dietz’s reinstatement to the force has not yet been announced.
