Mercer Woman Charged After 24 Dogs Found Living In Unsanitary Conditions

Ewing Township police and animal control found 24 dogs in poor condition at a Terrace Boulevard home in July, and owner Shirley Henderson has since been charged with failure to provide adequate shelter and care for animals. The dogs are now under the care of EASEL Animal Rescue League, where one has already had a litter of puppies available for adoption (contact EASEL at 609-883-0540 if you’re interested).
