Man Who Killed Passaic Co. Teen 20 Years Ago Caught With Loaded Gun: Cops

Zecharia Eaton, who served nearly 19 years for fatally shooting 15-year-old Ricky Lee Smith at a Paterson party in 2006, was arrested this week during a traffic stop in Clifton, less than 18 months after his release from prison. Officers found him in possession of a loaded Taurus .40 caliber handgun and a knife, and he now faces multiple weapons charges.
