Man Stabs Woman To Death, Arrested After SWAT Stand-Off In Franklin Township: Prosecutor

A Somerset man, Craig Montgomery, 60, was charged with first-degree murder after police say he stabbed a woman to death inside a Franklin Township apartment late Tuesday night. A SWAT team breached the apartment early Wednesday, where Montgomery allegedly charged at officers with a knife before being taken into custody; the woman was found unresponsive with stab wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.
