Man Stabbed With Kitchen Knife At Jersey Shore, Police Say

A 62-year-old Brielle man, Joseph Kerrigan, was stabbed in the abdomen with a kitchen knife at a Rankin Road home Tuesday morning and is now reported to be in stable condition after emergency treatment at Jersey Shore University Medical Center. Kendra Angell, 21, of Glen Gardner, was taken into custody at the scene and charged with aggravated assault and related offenses, with a detention hearing pending.
