Illegal Vapes, Weed Sold At Morris County Smoke Shops, Prosecutors Say

A county-wide sweep on July 1 hit more than a dozen Morris County smoke shops, turning up nearly 57,000 THC vapes, 328 pounds of edibles, 16.5 pounds of marijuana, and over $45,000 in cash, among other contraband. Eighteen people now face charges including conspiracy to distribute controlled substances and money laundering, with prosecutors noting the shops were selling unlicensed cannabis and flavored vapes in plain sight for months.
