‘I Was Violently Attacked By ICE Agents’ At Delaney Hall, NJ Nurse Claims

A Kean University professor and registered nurse named Norma Bowe says ICE agents shoved her to the ground outside Delaney Hall detention center in Newark on May 25, leaving her with a fractured kneecap, torn meniscus, and head injury. The ACLU-New Jersey has filed a notice of claim against the federal government on her behalf, alleging she was assaulted while staffing a mobile health clinic to assist visitors at the facility.
