Hoodie-Wearing Man Stopped By NJ Police Appears In Court

Jamaal Holmes, a 34-year-old Jackson Township man who says he was stopped by police because he is Black, appeared in municipal court Thursday on an obstruction charge stemming from a June traffic stop caught on video. His arraignment was pushed back 45 days because the department has not yet handed over bodycam footage, and the Jackson Township police chief says the incident is under internal review.
