Former NJ Lt. Gov. Dale Caldwell Suspended From Pastor Duties At Covenant United Methodist Church

Dale Caldwell, who resigned as New Jersey’s Lieutenant Governor after an independent investigation substantiated sexual harassment and ethics violations, has now been suspended from his pastoral duties at Covenant United Methodist Church in Plainfield. Bishop Cynthia Moore-Koikoi confirmed the suspension and said the church is conducting its own investigation while following United Methodist processes for addressing clergy complaints.
