Flood Warnings Hit NJ As Power Outages Linger For Thousands

Flood warnings and flash flood alerts are sweeping much of New Jersey on Monday, with rain rates topping 2 inches per hour threatening areas already soaked by last weekend’s storms. More than 50,000 homes and businesses are still without power from the July 4th weekend, and the new round of storms could push restoration timelines, already stretching to Thursday or Friday in some spots, even further.
